Happy Birthday to Poison Ivy!

The iconic character from the iconic TV show has been back in the spotlight again with a new movie coming out on July 5, 2019.

The movie, which is being produced by Legendary Pictures, follows Poison Ivy as she continues to protect Gotham City.

She was introduced in the episode “Gotham Central” and has since gone on to appear in numerous episodes of the show, with her first appearance in Season 1, Episode 8 “GOTHAM,” coming on June 1, 2020.

She’s also appeared in episodes of Gotham Central, Gotham Nights and Gotham Family, as well as other DC properties.

The plot of the film is set in the city of Gotham, where Poison Ivy’s father is the Mayor.

She and her team have teamed up to combat crime, but the team is being attacked by an unseen enemy.

The film’s cast includes John Turturro, who will reprise his role as Detective Gordon.

John Tauler (Batman: The Animated Series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) is directing from a screenplay by Alan Burnett and Joe Kelly (The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Forever).

J.K. Simmons (American Psycho) is producing with Michael Mann, John Wells, and Brian Grazer.

Matt Bellamy and Jodie Foster (Gothams Original Soundtrack) are co-writing the film, with John Wells serving as executive producer.

Legendary Pictures is handling worldwide sales for the film.

The original film, written and directed by Michael Mann and directed in association with Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Television, ran for six seasons on the CW from 1989 to 1996.

The sequel, titled Gotham Central: The Poison Ivy Story, was released in 2000, starring Robin Williams, as Poison Ivy.
